Buckingham Palace Invites Prince Harry Amid UK Visit

Prince Harry has been invited by Buckingham Palace to stay during his upcoming visit to the UK, reportedly as a gesture from King Charles III to mend family ties.

Despite the offer, Harry has declined the invitation, opting for private accommodations as he prepares for his legal case against News Group Newspapers.

During his visit, Harry will receive limited police protection, despite losing taxpayer-funded security last year. Officers from the Royalty and Specialist Protection Command will provide armed coverage, according to reports.

This isn’t the first time Harry has turned down staying at a royal residence. On past trips, he stayed at private locations, including Althorp House, his late mother Princess Diana’s childhood home.

The Sussexes lost their UK residence, Frogmore Cottage, in 2023, leaving Harry without a royal property to call home. However, King Charles’ recent invitation suggests a willingness to rebuild connections.
